EDUCATIONAL AND CHILD PSYCHOLOGY SERVICES FOR SCHOOLS
Educational Psychology That Works Across the Child, Classroom and School
Educational Psychology is often associated with individual assessment and reports. While these remain important, sustainable improvements in SEND outcomes are most likely when support operates across the child, classroom and wider school system. Beacon works in partnership with schools to provide consultation, staff development, systemic SEND support and targeted casework, helping schools build long-term capacity to meet diverse learner needs.
OUR APPROACH
Consultation
We believe Educational Psychology is most effective when it begins with collaborative problem-solving. Consultation helps schools understand difficulties, identify strengths and develop practical next steps before jumping straight to assessment and intervention
Child, Classroom
and School
Educational Psychology should not stop at understanding the child. We seek to understand how children, teaching approaches, relationships and systems interact to shape outcomes.
Building Capacity
Our aim is not simply to solve today’s difficulties, but to help schools feel more confident in meeting future challenges through training, coaching and systemic development.
OUR APPROACH
Fees and Partnership Packages
Beacon works in partnership with schools through bespoke Educational Psychology packages designed around the needs of individual settings. Rather than responding to ad hoc casework requests, we develop longer-term relationships that support children, staff and whole-school inclusion. Packages can incorporate consultation, individual casework, staff development, SEND leadership support, training and systemic development work. Please get in touch to discuss your school’s needs and receive a tailored proposal.
